Position Overview

Charm City Players is seeking a dynamic and organized Music Director / Camp Director to lead our summer theatre intensives!

This leadership role combines music direction with overall camp management for our youth theatre programs. The ideal candidate has a strong music and theatre background, is a confident leader, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, creative setting.

Salary

$1000 per week Stipend

What you'll do

  • Serve as Music Director for four 2-week theatre intensive camps
  • Provide music direction for all 4 camp productions
  • Oversee daily camp operations and program flow
  • Supervise and support counselors and specialty staff
  • Manage staff workflow and coordinate break schedules
  • Lead clear, consistent communication with families
  • Compose and distribute daily camp updates
  • Report directly to the Management Team

Who we're looking for

  • Background in Music Education
  • Experience working with youth and leading teams
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
  • Passion for arts education and theatre
